Understanding Terms & Conditions
Terms and Conditions (T&C) are vital for establishing the legal framework that governs the relationship between our company and our valued clients. These terms are unique to our business and are designed to protect both parties. As a domestic cleaning service, our T&C are specifically crafted to address the rights and responsibilities of homeowners and our dedicated cleaning professionals.

Service Requirements

Clutter Limitation
At Beth Maree Cleaning Services, we strive to deliver a top-quality clean in the time we’ve scheduled. We know that life gets busy, and some clutter is unavoidable. We’re happy to help with small tidying tasks, such as washing up to 10 small items (like plates and cutlery – but no pots and pans). However, if there’s extra clutter (e.g., laundry on the floor, toys not packed away), we may need more time to meet our high cleaning standards. Any additional costs will be discussed with you during the service. Clutter refers to any loose items that obstruct the cleaning process. -
Cancellations
We understand that plans can change! However, if you need to cancel, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice. Without this notice, it can be difficult to fill the spot, which leads to a loss of income for us. As such, a $30 cancellation fee will apply. If we can mutually agree to reschedule or waive the fee, no charge will be incurred. Thank you for your understanding and support in keeping things running smoothly! -
Moving Furniture
For safety reasons, we do not move heavy furniture, such as couches, or handle fragile items. Our team will clean around any existing furniture arrangements. If you'd like areas under furniture to be cleaned, we ask that you kindly move it before we arrive. -
Height Restrictions
Our team is happy to help with most tasks, but we will not perform work that requires a ladder beyond a two-step ladder. This includes high windows, high roof ceiling fans, or anything out of easy reach. -
Safety and Health Concerns
If our team identifies any safety or health risks before or during the service, we reserve the right to stop the service. We will always communicate any concerns with you immediately and work together to find the best solution. -
Property Access
Please ensure that we have access to your property at the agreed time. If access isn't granted within 20 minutes, we may need to reschedule the service, and a cancellation fee may apply if rescheduling is not possible. -
Service Complaints
If you're not happy with our service, please let us know within 24 hours of completion. We’re committed to resolving any issues, whether by redoing the service or offering a partial refund if appropriate. Please refer to our Refund Policy for further details. -
Service Limitations
The quality of our cleaning is influenced by the current condition of the property. If the space is excessively dirty or cluttered, we may need additional time and there could be extra costs. We’ll always communicate these with you upfront after inspecting the property.

Payment Terms

Payment Upon Completion
Full payment is required upon completion of the service. We accept Direct Bank Transfer, PayPal, or Cash. An invoice will be provided, and payment must be made within 48 hours. -
Late Fees
We kindly ask that invoices be paid within 48 hours. If payment is late, a $20 fee will be applied. If you're experiencing delays, please let us know to avoid additional fees. We’re happy to work with you on this. -
Quotes and Additional Costs
The initial quote is based on the details you provide at the time of booking. When we arrive, we’ll assess the property to make sure it matches what was discussed. If extra work or time is needed, we’ll chat with you to agree on any additional costs before starting. If the changes aren’t suitable for you, you’re free to cancel without any obligation. We believe in transparency and want to provide the best service possible for you!
Any extra charges for things like additional rooms or more intensive cleaning will be agreed upon upfront before the work begins.

Liability and Insurance

Insurance
Beth Maree Cleaning Services is fully insured. In the unlikely event that any property damage occurs during the service, we will file an insurance claim to cover the damages. -
No Liability for Pet Incidents
We love pets, but for everyone's safety, we ask that pets, especially those prone to escaping or not friendly toward strangers, are safely secured during the service. While we take every precaution to ensure a safe environment, Beth Maree Cleaning Services is not liable for any incidents involving pets during the service. -
Confidentiality
We respect your privacy. Beth Maree Cleaning Services will not share any personal information you provide with third parties without your prior consent. -
Photos and Videos
To ensure clarity and transparency, we may take photos before and after the service as a liability measure. These images are for internal purposes only, and we will never share them publicly without discussing it with you first. If we would like to use any of these photos for marketing or promotional purposes, we’ll ask for your permission. Rest assured, we’ll always exclude personal belongings from any publicly shared content.
